| Those of us who are fortunate enough to have grown up during the 50's have fond memories of the local diner and neighborhood drug stores soda fountain. Nothing fancy, just good food and malts that weren't made before you walked in. And if you wanted tomato or lettuce you didn't cause turmoil. |
|
It was a time when bunnies were small rabbits and rabbits were not Volkswagons. The top speed of an airplane was nearly 200-miles-per-hour and the sound barrier was something you found between the walls of a motel-room. Time sharing meant togetherness...not computers or condominiums. A chip meant a piece of wood and hardware meant hardware. Software wasn't even a word. T.V. had commercials, not the other way around, and Uncle Sam gave foreign aid to Japan. "Making Out" referred to how you did on your exam! Grass was mowed, Coke was a cold drink and Pot was a cooking utensil.
The diner decor is for your enjoyment, but we are still a restaurant. We can only assure you of our commitment to old-fashioned quality and service.
. . . where physicians, lawyers, factory workers, college students, your neighbor, your babysitter can all be found sitting side by side.
It is with these fond memories we bring you: The 63 Diner.
Turn back the clock, relax and enjoy!
